'Specified Printer has been deleted' When printing to card printer (Windows)

Error:

'Specified Printer has been deleted' error message when printing your card design to printer.

 

Solution:

Click on CP (top left corner) and select 'Clear Config' and click YES

File, Exit from cardPresso

Restart cardPresso

 

If this does not solve the problem and the error persists:

Plug the Printer USB cable into another USB port on the PC

Windows will reinstall the printer and name it "Printer name" (Copy 1)

Once complete, open cardPresso and click File, Printer Settings and select the new (Copy 1) version from the drop down list.

Click File, Print and cardPresso should recognise the printer and the card design will print
